Haven is the first project of Monothetic which was shelved in favor of Beacon. You take the role of Declan Burns, an unassuming security guard at a university who finds himself entangled in a web of inter-dimensional horrors and a familial tragedy that has long haunted him.
Initially developed in a heavily modified Source Engine, the team switched to Unreal Engine 4 during its closed beta phase.
I was responsible for the overall creative direction, game design, and creating 2D/3D assets and concept art for the game.
